Creator terms
These terms are between Gliros AS (org. no. 938 729 514, Kamfjordåsen 7, 3227 Sandefjord, Norway; “GlirOS”, “we”) and you, when you sell a tool through the GlirOS catalogue as a creator on community.gliros.com/sell. They add to the terms of use. What buyers see is in paid tools.
Who sells what
- You sell your tool to your buyers. You, or the merchant of record you choose in your licence server (Paddle or Stripe Managed Payments), are the seller. You or your merchant of record answer for the price, VAT, receipts, refunds, the right of withdrawal and the buyer’s consumer rights. GlirOS is not a party to that sale and takes no share of it.
- GlirOS sells you a service: the listing of your tool in the reviewed, signed GlirOS catalogue, for a monthly fee. That sale is made through our merchant of record (Paddle), whose name is on the checkout and the receipt.
- You must be 18 or older, and the seller details you give (name or company, organisation number or “private individual”, address, country and a support e-mail) must be true and kept up to date. They are shown with your tools in GlirOS.
Registering and reviewing a tool
- You register a tool with a link to its package and its
paid.json. We check it automatically (the package rules, the paid-tool rules, your seller details, your licence server), and keep only its fingerprint (SHA-256) and the public parts ofpaid.json. - Never give us a secret. Your licence signing key and your payment keys stay in your own licence server.
- We review every version with the paid-tool checklist: who sells it, the price incl. VAT, how to cancel (as easy as buying), access to the end of the paid period, trials, refunds and withdrawal, working terms and privacy pages, what data is collected, and that it works. We may approve, ask for changes or refuse, and we say why.
- A paid tool may never use, bundle or call a model or add-on whose licence forbids paid use (for example the face swap, CodeFormer and face age add-ons).
- Names starting with “gliros” are for GlirOS’s own tools, and “my_” names are for home-made tools: neither can be sold.
The listing
- A tool is in the catalogue while a version is approved and your listing is active. The fee follows the tier for your tool’s monthly price, shown when you register; tiers and prices are set by GlirOS and change only with 30 days’ notice.
- The listing renews every month until you cancel it. If a payment fails, the listing stays active for the grace days shown, then ends.
- When a listing ends, the next catalogue leaves the tool out, and buyers can no longer buy it in GlirOS. Licences your buyers already have keep working until they run out, so no buyer is cut off in a period they have paid for. Your obligations to your buyers continue.
- You can withdraw a tool at any time. We may take a tool out of the catalogue if it breaks these terms or the law, harms users, or no longer passes the checks. We tell you why.
Your licence server
- You run your licence server (the GlirOS licence kit, or your own that follows the published licence format), keep it available, and answer licence checks from GlirOS for your buyers. GlirOS never tells you who a GlirOS user is; you know only what the buyer gives you when they buy.
- If your signing key leaks, rotate it and submit a new version with the new public key.
Rights, liability and changes
- You keep all rights in your tool. You give GlirOS the right to check it, to list and describe it, and to distribute it to users through the catalogue while it is listed.
- You confirm that you have the right to sell everything in the tool, and you answer for claims about it.
- To the extent the law allows, GlirOS’s liability towards you is limited to the listing fees you paid in the last 12 months.
- We may change these terms with 30 days’ notice by e-mail. Norwegian law applies.
