Subscription terms
These terms apply when you subscribe to a service from Gliros AS (org. no. 938 729 514, Kamfjordåsen 7, 3227 Sandefjord, Norway; “GlirOS”, “we”) on home.gliros.com. Today that is GlirOS Plus and the listing of a paid tool in the GlirOS catalogue (see the creator terms). They add to the terms of use. Version 1.
Who sells and who takes the payment
- Paddle is the seller. Our order process is run by Paddle.com, which is the merchant of record (the reseller) for all our orders. Paddle takes the payment, collects VAT where it is due, sends the receipts and invoices, and handles refunds and questions about payments. Paddle’s buyer terms apply to the payment.
- GlirOS provides the service you subscribe to, as described when you subscribe and in these terms.
- Your card or payment details go to Paddle, never to us.
GlirOS Plus
- GlirOS Plus gives you remote access to your own PC from anywhere through our relay, end-to-end encrypted. Everything else in GlirOS stays free.
- The price is NOK 49 a month or NOK 490 a year, including VAT. In some countries, for example the US and Canada, Paddle adds sales tax at the checkout. The amount you pay is shown before you pay. The subscription is paid in advance and renews every month or every year until you cancel it.
- Free trial: you can start a free trial on home.gliros.com without giving a card. Its length is shown when you start it. It is given once per account and once per PC linked to the account. It ends by itself: nothing is charged and there is nothing to cancel. We e-mail you three days before it ends and when it has ended.
- When a payment fails, remote access keeps working for three grace days while Paddle tries again.
- Before we start charging: until we start requiring GlirOS Plus, remote access works without it. On the day we start, everyone who has used remote access in the last 30 days gets a free trial from that day, and we tell them by e-mail.
Price, renewal and payment
- The price is shown before you pay, per month or per year.
- The subscription is paid monthly or yearly in advance and renews every month or every year until you cancel it. If a free trial is offered, it is shown before you pay, and the first payment is taken when it ends unless you cancel before. GlirOS Plus’s free trial is different: it needs no card and ends by itself (see above).
- We may change a price with 30 days’ notice by e-mail. You can cancel before the new price applies.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time under Subscriptions on home.gliros.com, or in Paddle’s customer portal (the link is there too). It is as easy as subscribing.
- When you cancel, the service continues to the end of the period you have paid for, and nothing more is charged. Part of a period is not refunded unless the law or Paddle’s buyer terms give you that right.
- When you delete your GlirOS account, your subscriptions are cancelled at once first, so nothing is charged after.
Right of withdrawal and refunds
- If you buy as a consumer, you have the right of withdrawal that the law and Paddle’s buyer terms give you. Refunds are made by Paddle; ask through the link in Paddle’s receipt or the customer portal.
- When a payment is refunded or reversed (a chargeback), the service it paid for ends at once, and the subscription is cancelled.
When a payment fails
- Paddle tries again and tells you by e-mail. You can update your card in the customer portal.
- For a listing, the tool stays in the catalogue for the grace days shown on the subscription (today 7 days) after the paid period, then the listing ends. If Paddle gives up, the subscription ends.
When the service ends for other reasons
- A listing only has a purpose while the tool is listed. If you withdraw the tool, or we take it out under the creator terms, we cancel the listing subscription at the end of the paid period, so you are not charged again for it.
- If GlirOS stops offering a service, we tell you at least 30 days before and cancel the subscription, so nothing is charged for time after it stops.
Other
- What we keep about your subscriptions, and why, is in the privacy policy.
- We may change these terms with 30 days’ notice by e-mail. Norwegian law applies, without taking away rights the law of your country gives you as a consumer.
